Jelka has been vegan since 2015.
„I went vegan for the animals at first, but started educating myself on where the food I eat comes from and was shocked by the truth and no longer wanted to support such cruel industries. Now I also believe it’s the best way to go for your health and the planet.
I follow a balanced vegan lifestyle, listening to what my body needs.
Regarding my modeling Career, it started when I was only 10 years old. I applied for a “make-over” photoshoot in a teens magazine in Belgium, got picked to do it and the photographer told me I should see some agencies.
From the age of 10 until 17teen I have been doing a lot of work in Belgium and Netherlands. I’ve done plenty of photoshoots and TV work as well as couple of catwalks. On the age of 17teen, I started my international career and have been working in places such as China, India, Italy, Spain, Miami, Thailand, Indonesia, Germany, London ever since then.
Besides modeling, I’m an eco-minded influencer. I manage my own instagram and youtube and blog where I share the vegan message and hope to inspire others on living more consciously. I make and film/write recipes. I also give demo cooking workshops. I also enjoy to act, write and draw.“
